Dear Caroline:
To say that I LOVE my newest Greta’s would be an understatement. The purple Ninas were the hit of the Milonga, and from the picture you can see why! I was so impressed with them that I immeadiately ordered the silver ones, and haven’t regreted that either. The picture seriously does not do them justice, they are beyond gorgeous! I don’t have a picture of the silver ones yet ( perhaps from tonight’s milonga)….I was skeptical when I ordered my first pair ( Petronas), about fit / comfort, as I am a flamenco dancer as well, and I was unsure about the quality. Let me just say, all my Greta’s are a dream to dance with! Yes they are high, but they are flexible, so flexible that you could point your toe in them, for style purposes! And I am always complimented on their beauty as well. Let’s face it girls, part of men asking you to dance is the total package, ability combined with the “right look”, and any serious tangoista knows Greta Flora!

As a beginner, I have been struggling in the past months to find the perfect pair of shoes. Was it to compensate my own technical problems ? Most probably. And in the most part, I was right to keep on searching. I have just bought the Nina Zebra Greta Flora’s PERFECT shoes. They are wide enough, high enough, stable enough. On top of all, Caroline’s custom made design is sexy, sexy sexy… For once, I could dance all night and feel absolutely safe (and fabulous) in my shoes. Caroline, never have I been so glad nor felt so fortunate as I did the other night an hour before going out to a gala dinner, when she came over with a selection of the most gorgeous shoes I have seen in a long time to go with my fabulous dress! They were all beautiful, and it would have been hard to choose between them were it not for the fact that I have a torn tendon in my knee and required the most comfortable pair possible. And so I chose the black suede Felisas, and they went perfectly with my dress, and I was able to stand and walk for hours in those shoes. Beautiful, comfortable, and not just for tango, obviously!
